COMPIEGNE RACECOURSE  
The Hippodrome du Putois can be found at Compiegne in the North of France. It held its inaugural meeting in 1875 and holds Flat racing and steeplechases. The course has a circumference of 2200 metres with an extended run-in of 600 metres.
   There are 2 principal races held at the course, both of them Listed, the first being held in late June is the Grand Prix de Compiegne and is contested over 2000 metres for 4 year olds and upwards. In 2013 Petit Chevalier, ridden by M.Guyon and trained by W.Mongil beat Zagros, ridden by A.Badel. In July the Prix Pelleas is run over 2000 metres for 3 year old colts and geldings.
